The clearest explanation of mindfulness I’ve ever read
I first discovered Matt Tenney a few years ago when I found his YouTube video on transforming anger into compassion. This totally changed how I viewed other people who I found difficult so I was very excited to listen to this book.
I have read many books on mindfulness but this provided the clearest explanation of how to become mindfully self -aware and why we create our own suffering through identification with our thoughts and ego. So many books make awakening or enlightenment seem difficult to understand or reach but Matt’s matter of fact description helps to understand what this means and how to get there.
I’ve recommended this to everyone even slightly interested in mindfulness in the hope of helping Matt reach his goal of removing the causes of suffering through the whole world!
