This tale is filled with mystery, suspense, danger, and unexpected heroes. I can easily recommend this story to anyone who likes books from Dickens to Goosebumps, especially for Halloween. A great read.

Exciting, atmospheric mystery

I am informed, by the target audience, that this is a 'good book' that my niece enjoyed it, a little creepy, a little thrilling, but sadly, a little short too.

I had a bit of a listen myself and I'd agree, that this is a pretty atmospheric story, about an orphanage from which girls are vanishing, pretty creepy stuff for kids, so make sure your children enjoy creepy books before allowing them to listen.
