Gabe and Ameline meet by chance but strike a close friendship that lasts through the years. When life is not so kind to Ameline, Gabe comes to the rescue as he’s the only person she has left.
All of the Deckers are a little bit broken, somehow but as a family unit they are the best. For some reason we don’t know, Gabe does not want to share his personal life with his family keeping secrets from everyone. Ameline had a great life, parents that loved her, but all of a sudden her happy life fell apart. It takes a really strong person to endure what she did.
That cliffhanger… it’s just… nooooo!!! Book 2 - quick, quick, quick.
Angelina Rocca and Teddy Hamilton brought Ameline and Gabe to life. Perfect!

Claudia Burgoa does it again, not only did she pen another amazing novel, but she hooks me in, blows me away and then leaves me wanting more, or rather needing to know more. She created something very special when she created the Decker Family and I will never tire or get enough of them, with each one being as interesting as the other, and so are their stories and relationships. “The Lies About Forever” is the first book of her “Impossibly Possible” duet, and is Gabriel “Gabe” Decker and Ameline”Are” Lewis’ story and wow, what a story it is, the emotions poured off the pages of this book and hit me straight in the heart, and that ending broke my heart apart. Gabe losing the love of his life at a young age left him heartbroken and jaded because he knew there will never be another. While in college his roommate Cedric’s younger sister, Ameline, comes for a visit, but Cedric winds up leaving her to fend for herself, though Gabe was there and took her under his wing. The two hit it off and stayed in touch over the years, becoming good friends and it morphed into more, but it took him longer to realize it. He showed up for her in her time of need and went above and beyond. Then the unthinkable happened, actually several unthinkable things happen, crushing them both. I loved how everything played out in this book, and as always, the writing, plot and world building are impeccable, as are the character growth and development. It was great to see some familiar faces from other series and a brief glimpse of storylines that occurred in their books. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing story and emotional roller coaster ride.  

🎧📚🎧 Teddy Hamilton and Angelina Rocca did a fantastic job with these characters, bringing them to life, humanizing them, giving each a voice that suits them perfectly. I loved how they took their roles and made them their own, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters would sound. Hamilton nailed it as Gabe, grasping his personality completely and Rocca did the same as Ameline, bringing out all sides of her personality as well. Both were fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. These two are make a great team, their voices and performances complement each other and they are entertaining storytellers. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Well, this one had me from chapter one. I am a sucker for friend's sister, and as soon as Ameline went to visit her brother and met Gabe I was done for. But Claudia Burgoa doesn't stop there. She weaves a web of friendship, as Ameline begins her college career, and Gabe is starting med school. It's innocent and fun, as these two grow close. Their families are complete opposites, with the Gabe;s very loving and warm where Ameline's are very controlling and cold. And when times get tough, it's family is the most important. As Ameline's world crumbles, Gabe is there to help her through. But will it be enough? Crush me totally, this story's cliffhanger has me queuing up book two so I can see where it all goes! This can not be happening! Oh, and I have to mention the warm feeling I get seeing other characters pop in that In know, like Archer! But still...I need book two!

Teddy Hamilton and Angelina Rocca are amazing together as they begin this story. Hamilton is Gabe, warm and sweet, he brings out all the good parts with his smooth sound. Rocca is perfect as Ameline. She is strong and soft all at the same time, wanting to please and making her real. I enjoyed these two and can't wait for the conclusion!
