There are some big plot twists here that will make your mind reel with what Lilly has to go through to make the wrongs of the past right again. Your heart feels for Lilly as you experience along with her, her heart wrenching roller coaster of emotions and shocking events that are delivered hard, fast and unrelenting. Definitely a series not to miss.

I loved this book. It had me crying and I couldn’t put it down until I had finished it. So many turns and twists. Very well written and a great narrator brought it to life

As I’ve mentioned in previous reviews, I’ve read these books before and love the story so much. MJ has a real talent for dark and gritty plots and everything is just so well written. Amy’s narration adds that extra dimension Every character has a distinctive voice; you know exactly who is speaking all the time. This book is probably the darkest of the three, society just can’t cope with the presence of witches, and broken Lily is just so amazingly portrayed. She also has her own distinctive voice. I love everything about this series and would recommend it to anyone who loves their fantasy on the very dark side. I really hope that we get the novella too; it’s just too perfect to miss.
