It’s great to listen to a story that includes familiar places (just bought a pup from Llanboidy). Excellent plot and great narration coupled with humour from Gil and a little hint of romance makes this my favourite! Only problem for me was housework and gardening was neglected as I had to savour every word and of course I finished it too quick. Can’t wait for the next 3 to be available on audible.

This series really is excellent!! I have been eagerly awaiting the release of this book as an audiobook, and, as I hoped, it provided a brilliant conclusion to a major story arc, which started in Book 10.
I could have just read the book of course, instead of waiting, but Tobias Weatherburn does such an incredible job of bringing all of the characters to life, with his amazing narration, that it would just not be the same to read the words, instead of having him perform Rhys Dylan's excellent writing.
I know that there are already 3 more books in the series, yet to become audiobooks, and I really cannot wait for them to be released!

good buildup of suspense and not too much police procedural knocking on doors and interviewing which can become monotonous.

I am at the ‘end of the road’ with books, but the characters have not. When will we see the next…..when will we see the store of organ parts opened again..when willl….. i recognise so much of myself as a young policeman having an undue interest at attending autopsies 😳

Rhys Dylan, continually pleases me with his contemporary idioms and knowledge of Police.

These books are well written, peopled with sympathetic characters and narrated superbly. The individual episodes are gripping stories, interspersed with gentle humour and well meaning zeal. There is also a background narrative of an ongoing battle against a series of unpleasant characters and a gentle budding romance. I can't wait for the next book.

Wonderful. I love these books after the first the others are like spending time with old friends.
