First, just wow. I am very inspired and in awe of this author and their travels. I wish that I had taken some time for myself before I jumped into adulthood and my responsibilities. Following the author through various continents and cities, I found myself being immersed in her travels, self-reflection, and personal growth. She does an amazing job with her storytelling so that you can feel that you are on this trip with her. Listening to the vivid descriptions of the scenery, the food, and all the cultural encounters had me very excited, and felt like I was with a friend.

I am still beyond amazed at the author's courage to step outside her comfort zone, leave behind everything that she knew, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. I have a daughter who is going to graduate high school this year and this is the type of journey I am encouraging her to take. Before buckling down to life, get out there and see what else is available. It's not just about traveling but also seeing other cultures, how they live, their values, their religion and just becoming more well-rounded instead of Westernized.

Beautiful book from this author and I would encourage you to go on this adventure with her.
