Great to continue the story
Very happy that Peter is continuing the story with another instalment but the narration has really ruined this one for me.
Changing how characters sound and pronounce words used through the series is really charging and removes you from the story.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Horrible ending:
I loved every second of this novel, and love ever second of my time in thesa, but it had one fatal flaw, it ended! I really wish Peter would stop writing novels that end! 😭😭😭 More, now, and more after that, you miserly git! MORE!

Good continuation, bad narration
Unlike most people, I really loved the original narration of the desert prince. The two narrators really gave their best to the characters and they were really unique in a great way. That ends here. The two narrators do terrible pronunciation in words that had a previously established way of saying which could easily leave one confused in what they are talking about, and the new southern-american accent placed upon Darlin breaks any immersion of a unique world that the original book had. Where he in the previous book had an accent that truly lend itself well to being an original world, it is now Americanized again in a way that is incredibly tiresome.
I am solely listening to it to finish the series, but any real enjoyment I had from it is lost when it came to the narration.

It's a great world
Really enjoyed the book, but unfortunately the narration is terrible. It's like having a successful TV show and then in season 6 you change the lead actors and pretend everything is the same. There is a few names they get wrong which is infuriating. it breaks the characters. what a shame.

Another fantastic installment!
Great story. Absolutely loved it. Although Colin mace has been and will always be the best narrator. I didn't mind these two. Slightly annoying when words are pronounced different but I try not to let it bother me too much.

narrators bad
didn't like the new narrators. very jarring. I enjoyed the last book. haven't finished this one and probably won't continue with the series from here. I don't know why Mr Brett keeps on changing the british narrators.

Great start, held back by narration
The story is fantastic, very nice arks with twists and satisfying conclusions.
unfortunately the narration let's it down. the female narrator I have gotten used to, but the Male one is permanently bored or depressed. makes for a jarring listen
