I was worrid about the subject if the book. It was a sad story really, I felt a bit deflated at the end. Well written though, I am an Emilea Fox fan & she read so well. A few long & posh words though.

Wow! Didn’t expect that ending! Absolutely brilliant and kept me guessing from beginning to end.
As a listener of crime and thriller audiobooks this will not disappoint one bit.
I adore Emilia Fox esp in her Tv role in Silent Witness.
The book was beautifully read and the different voices Emilia became were very realistic. I didn’t get bored listening to her voice and the book was extremely well written.

A gripping storyline kept me wanting to listen 24/7!

A cleverly plotted tale, some characters more believable than others. I was sufficiently intrigued to persist despite Emilia Fox’s whiney narration. She was better when reading characters’ parts.

Loved the character development, was most interested in the uncle and the detective. Great how the crux of the story is gradually revealed as you read the book, leaving the reader with a whodunnit feel!
