This audiobook offers a variety of self help techniques in order to help support your mental health. The reason of its usefulness of how CBT came to be is clearly explained. Theories of each of the main contributors to this practiced are shared. The narrators voice presents the information in an engaging manner. Some of the the ideas shared that I have began to apply are to learn to study my thoughts patterns and of they influence me and to tackle my mental health in a strategic way by applying a SMART goals type of approach. This audio is a good resource to have.

CBT was recommended from my therapist so I checked out this book. This audible gave me a clearer understanding than what I was learning from my therapist. It was filled with real life ways to control anxiety and stress, which are two things I struggle with. I do not have depression or anger, but as I was listening to the book, I thought it has great information to help with that too. The techniques are easily explained and there are quick exercises that I can start right away, which is super helpful. The real-life examples helped me get a firm grasp on implementing the strategies and I was able to relate well to them. I feel this will be very helpful for me get some control back in my life. If you struggle too, I recommend this audible for you.
