A Must Listen for Growing Girls
I wish I had this audiobook when I was younger! It explains everything about puberty and periods in a way that actually makes sense no awkwardness, no confusing medical talk. It’s like having a big sister or mentor walk you through what to expect, how to handle changes, and feel confident about it all. I especially love how it covers both the physical and emotional sides. If you know a girl going through this stage, this is the perfect guide to help her feel prepared!

A Must-Have Guide for Growing Girls
I wish I had this book when I was going through puberty. As a girl, I remember feeling confused, overwhelmed, and unsure of what was happening to my body and emotions. There weren’t many resources back then that explained things in a way that felt reassuring and normal. This book offers practical advice from periods to emotions, friendships, and self-care, things every girl should know but might feel too shy to ask about. I recommend it.

Helping my daughter through her next life stage
I struggle with talking about some things, and this is one of them. I found this wonderful guide that my daughter and I could listen to together and answer all her questions. She now feels like she is normal and knows all women go through this. Learning about her body and the changes that are happening has helped her anxiety and stress. Great book; I wish I had it when I was a tween.

A great guide!
I recently listened to The Essential Girl's Guide to Puberty & Periods by DebbieAnn Lewis, and I think it’s a fantastic book for young girls going through puberty. It explains everything in a simple and friendly way, making it easy to understand. I liked how the book covers not just the physical changes but also the emotions that come with puberty. It reassures girls that everything is normal and gives them advice on how to take care of themselves. I would recommend this book to any girl who is starting puberty or even parents who want to help their daughters feel more prepared. It’s a great resource that answers common questions in a supportive way.

Empowering and Age-Appropriate
I listened to this with my preteen daughter, and it was such a helpful way to open up conversation. It covers everything clearly and respectfully—from body changes and emotional ups and downs to managing periods and self-esteem. The tone is friendly, not clinical, and it made my daughter feel seen and confident. Highly recommend for young girls and their caregivers.

Made It Way Less Awkward
If you’re trying to help your daughter feel more comfortable with all the weird and new stuff happening to her body, this book is a solid pick. It keeps things real without being too heavy or overwhelming. What I liked best is the way it explains everything clearly without sounding like a science class or a lecture. Plus, it touches on emotional stuff in a way that feels supportive. Definitely worth having on the shelf before those big changes kick in.

Such an important topic
As a male, I'm probably not the target audience for this book but I still found it extremely helpful and informative. To understand the changes and experiences my daughter will go through when she hits puberty will help me relate to, connect with, and help her in ways I wouldn't be able to do had I not listened to this book. Everything is extremely well explained and the author makes a tricky subject very approachable.
