Well, I got as far as the start of Book 2, but the final straw was the author confusing acronym with anagram. I wholeheartedly agree with other reviewers that this book desperately needs a thorough editing. It could easily lose 25% by getting rid of the absurd similies and use of ridiculous obscure words. It’s almost as if the author had swallowed a thesaurus. This type of writing doesn't show the author's expertise and proficiency, in fact the opposite. A great pity, as the story line shows promise, and this could have been a good book. On the other hand, the narration was excellent, with one glaring exception. Chichester is pronounced with a short ‘i’ as in pin, not a long ‘i’ as in high. It’s always best to double or triple check pronunciation websites.
