About this listen
How well do you really know your neighbours?
In a converted Georgian townhouse in South West London, three families live under one roof.
The large flat that takes up the top two floors is home to the Harlow family: happily married Paul and Steph and their bubbly teenage daughter, Freya. The smaller first floor flat is rented by Emma, who spends most of her time alone, listening to people coming in and out of the building. And the basement flat belongs to Chris, a local driving instructor, who prefers to keep his personal life private from the neighbours.
But their lives are all upended when Freya vanishes. As the police become involved and a frantic Paul and Steph desperately search for answers, they begin to realise that the truth behind their daughter's disappearance may lie closer to home than they were expecting.
When everyone has something to hide, can you ever really know those closest to you? Or will some secrets be taken to the grave?

5/5
I don't normally get on very well with multi pov books however this one flowed so well I really enjoyed it. I won't say too much as I don't want to ruin anything for anyone who wants to read the book in the future.
There was a lot of twists and turns and surprises in this book which I really enjoyed as it meant I couldn't work out how it was going to end!! The details were amazing, I went like I was in the story at times.
I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys suspense thrillers. This is another genre I will now be looking into more and definitely this author

Incredible debut!

This book seemed unnecessarily busy and complicated and I'm not sure why. Maybe too many characters, and added to that, the story often flashes back in time and then back to present day. Quite a few times throughout the book I kept thinking what is going on?….and I was actively listening (or I thought I was). At least the end is fairly simple.
Huh?
