About this listen

The world of Rale is being consumed by Nolost, the entity of destruction.

There are only days left to stop him, and only one man who can: the nethermancer Dante Galand. But the mentor who would have shown him how has just been slain by Nolost's armies.

With his last hopes fading, Dante hatches a mad plan: travel into the afterlife, find his dead mentor, and finish training in the ancient technique to kill the entity.

His friends, the blade master Blays and the sorcerer Gladdic, have been separated from him, but knowing Dante needs more time, they come up with a mad plan of their own. Nolost is attacking the secret heart of the world—and Blays and Gladdic mean to travel there and sabotage his work before it's complete. They know it will be a mission they won't return from.

But the war that has devastated the land of the living is exploding across the once-peaceful afterlife as well, threatening the missions of Dante and Blays alike. Time has run out. The final battle is upon them—and Rale's last champions may not get there in time to fight it.

The last book of The Cycle of Galand is here. Resolving secrets both old and new and culminating in an epic battle and its shocking aftermath, the grand story of Dante and Blays is now complete.

A brilliant and fitting end to a great series. It was especially nice to hear from Ed in the afterword

I'm sad it's over, but am satisfied with the ending. I've really enjoyed this series and hope to encounter our hero's again in the future.

Enjoyed the series but have to say struggled with the last one in particular as I really believe you need to be on an acid trip or something to be able to grasp it’s full story lol

I’ve loved this series and the levity of the characters as they get constantly stomped. The narrator is brilliant and very consistent and convincing for each part. Thank you to the author for sharing this fantastic fantasy world

A fantastic end

I struggled in the middle as it was a bit…wavey. But was 12 books in and i wasn’t quitting now! But am glad I persevered. A great ending and some very nice authors notes at the end.

A bit waffling at times but makes sense in the end

What can I say? A true and epic finale to the great stories of Dante Galland

I’ve really truly enjoyed this series and the series before all fantastic books. I really hope the author revisits Dante and blays again.

I’m sure there’s plenty more mysteries that the world has to unveil itself to that pair of fantastic adventures and more wonderful skills for Dante to learn. This book was truly epic in it scope and it’s okay if any future ones aren’t quite weld ending or changing sometimes it’s great just to have a jolly good adventure some intrigue and a mystery but I’m sure given the background in the history that Edward the author can come up with some fantastic new calamity for Dante to Resolve who knows maybe even the gods want to come back to rail.

Fantastic read all round love the characters from start to finish love the dialogue between them and love the little word. The author gave regarding how he created this world. He clearly just gets in the flow and channels his creative art which is a fantastic way to create brilliant stories . Looking forward to more that you have to offer.

Stunning Read and Lovely End
