Great three book set for beginners!

If you want to master the basics of Korean, this is an excellent place to start. You'll be lead through the Korean alphabet, where each letter is associated with an English equivalent which makes it easier to remember and learn the pronunciation. The narrator goes slowly and speaks clearly, so she's easy to follow. She leaves a few seconds after the Korean through the practice sections of the book so you have time to repeat her. Korean grammar is covered, with a comparison to English grammar structure, so you can learn how to correctly form your own sentences and understand what is being said ("wait for the verb!") Comprehension questions help you to test what you have learned. Throughout there are tidbits of Korean culture taught which are imperative to help understand how to properly use the language with Korean speakers, for example the honorifics used when speaking to someone. Great stuff!

All inclusive book to get you started

This 3 in 1 book has been amazing to listen to. I listened to the whole thing to understand what all to expect but now I am going back and actually applying what is being taught. It is extremely helpful to have the PDF as it follows along with the book but I love that I have the audible because then I can hear what is being taught and then have a visual for the writing pieces. Each book has it's own value to share. Book 1 is about learning the basics, book 2 is about learning how to apply the information with small conversations, and then book 3 is short stories for you to begin to understand the language. Hats off to this author because they poured their heart and soul into creating this amazing book
