A wonderful thought provoking insight into who we are and what our relationship is with God and with each other. Refreshing to me even though it is 25 years old. It does not push religion infact encourages our own observations through our own experiences, not what others have passed on from what others have passed onto them. A very inclusive book to anyone regardless of background/race, gender, sexual preferences, beliefs etc. It seeks to give confidence to the reader that they are the creator of their own destiny/reality and that nothing is impossible......apart that is....from dying.

Oh My GOD.... I mean that literally,.. My GOD, at last I have found you. I have never been religious but always spiritual, never before have I felt that the questions I've asked myself have finally been answered and they make sense.

You always feel very skeptical when you approach a book with a title like Conversations with God. However this book with its three volumes has simply swept me away. It always says and its True that there is nothing new in the book as all which is covered here is well covered in all religious books and texts. What is unique is the Simplicity and Clarity of the Communication and the Format of a Conversation which makes you part of the Discussion. An Audio book actually makes you completely immersed in the Debates and Rationale. Wonderfully narrated and well edited. I will read this book again and again....

As a Christian, and a teacher of the Bible, I would not recommend this book to Christian as it contained too much contradictions with the Bible. 1. God will not Judge people. 2. There is no such thing as sin but choices which may or may not reflect the highest truth in us. 3. There are no such thing as Hell which clearly contradict with the teaching of Jesus.

However, one may read it as a book of Wisdom, as it called us to be a better observer on things around us, remind ourselves and others on who we really are, as the children of God, and go out to re-create ourselves, with God as a co-worker. Book one also mentioned ten commitments to God which in many ways are consistent with the Bible teaching.
