About this listen

Lincoln Rhyme tracks down a terrifying serial killer in the second in the series. The Coffin Dancer, America's most wanted hit man, is back. He's been hired by an airline owner who wants three witnesses taken care of before his trial, and has got the first, a pilot, by blowing up his entire plane.

Enter quadriplegic ex-cop Lincoln Rhyme, who can find forensic evidence to hang a man in the smallest debris, and his assistant, Amelia Sachs. Their job is to keep the remaining two witnesses safe and to find the Coffin Dancer before he finds them. Because he will find them and anyone else who tries to get in his way.

Fantastic

What a book and what a story. Remember reading this over 10years ago and remember being gripped then. Just as good on audiobook but better in way. I like to listen while I work at my desk in the office. I can’t rate this book high enough. Should be made into a film if guarantees can be given not to change a thing and not to cut the movie short (as is done with other books). Would recommend to any crime / CSI lover.

Exciting, twists and a coherent plot

I had finally had my fill of crime detective novels and this has brilliantly opened a new avenue. Great plot, unseen twists (usually I get them) and relatively cliche free characters.
