Brains get the better of brawn in The Clever Monkey Rides Again, a spirited modern retelling of a classic West African fable. Audiobook performer Rob Cleveland appealingly voices the cheeky, mischievous monkey, who comes up with a crafty plot to thwart the bully lion who commits a litany of dastardly misdeeds, like tying a poor elephant's trunk in a knot. The lion is no match for the monkey, who cunningly, amusingly uses the big cat's vanity against him. Children will love Cleveland's enthusiastic, character-filled performance, while adults will enjoy The Clever Monkey's message of self-reliance and creativity.
