About this listen
In life I was a scientist called Fanning. Then, in a jungle in Bolivia, I died. I died, and then I was brought back to life....
Prompted by a voice that lives in her blood, the fearsome warrior known as Alicia of Blades is drawn towards one of the great cities of The Time Before. The ruined city of New York. Ruined but not empty. For this is the final refuge of Zero, the first and last of The Twelve. The one who must be destroyed if mankind is to have a future.
What she finds is not what she's expecting. A journey into the past. To find out how it all began. And an opponent at once deadlier and more human than she could ever have imagined.
The publishing phenomenon that began with the astonishing worldwide best seller The Passage now comes to its epic conclusion.

If you could sum up The City of Mirrors in three words, what would they be?
A great readWhat other book might you compare The City of Mirrors to, and why?
It was such a long wait for this book to come out but it was worth it. I enjoyed from the start as you recapped what had happened in the first two books. It only took me eight days to listen to nearly 30 hours of audio. What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Scot was great as he would change his voice for the different people that were in the book. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Amy went Lish after Alisha had been shot multiple timesAny additional comments?
Just give the books take you to a different world. It ashame that it not another book in the series. I will missed it a lot. I will read them all again as I have listened to the first two books at least three times. The first book takes a while to get your head around it but once you understand that it going back and forward.Another great book

I did enjoy all 3 books - perhaps this wasn't my favourite - I think the first was the best.
This tied the story up nicely. I wasn't sure how it was going to end but the author did a good job. No spoilers.
The performance was great.
There were two things I was less keen on. At times the author includes long passages with very flowery language describing the land or the creatures on it. Could have been cut back and allowed the story to flow more. I found the mystic aspects less enjoyable too. Felt they got in the way of the story at times.
On balance though - great book and excellent performance.
Final part of an epic story

Justin Cronin has written a masterpiece these books and I would urge anyone who hasn't read them to make a start now.

If you could sum up The City of Mirrors in three words, what would they be?
I'm guessing this long awaited conclusion was always going to be hard to meet expectations & don't get me wrong; I was glued to it as I was all the others but I did feel this book was the weakest of the series & found the end a little disappointing but maybe that's because I wanted a fairy tale happy ending that this author was never going to give & would have been unrealistic anyway. I love this author & love the series & as always the book was brilliantly narrated. What was one of the most memorable moments of The City of Mirrors?
I enjoyed catching up with Peter at where he is now & hearing the perspective of 'Zero'. I enjoyed his life story most as well as the current everyday lives of the characters I love from the previous books.Have you listened to any of Scott Brick’s other performances? How does this one compare?
No but I definitely will as I love his narration of this series. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not as much as the other books but Peter & Amy's reunion & Fanning's seperation from his parents as he goes off to college where both moving.Any additional comments?
If you have loved the previous books in this series you can't not read this book to hear how the story concludes. The Passage will always be my favourite though from the series & a book I'll read again & again. In fact I will revisit the whole series many times again as there is just so much story to revisit & enjoy again.Brilliantly read but slightly dissappointed

Read and listened to them all several times, and still they bring me to tears.
Thank you Mr Cronin and Mr Brick, heavenly!
P.S What happened to the TV series? Disappointed but not surprised in this PC era. Especially disappointed in the hatchet job they've done to Anthony Carter 🙄😡
The Passage Trilogy, must read.
