About this listen
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Pumpkin Spice Cafe comes a #1 Sunday Times bestselling grumpy x sunshine Christmas romcom!
‘A charming break from reality’ Publishers Weekly
Every book in the Dream Harbor series can be read as a standalone.
Kira North hates Christmas. Which is unfortunate since she just bought a Christmas tree farm in a town that’s too cute for its own good.
Bennett Ellis is on vacation in Dream Harbor trying to take a break from both his life and his constant desire to fix things.
But somehow fate finds Ben trapped by a blanket of snow at Kira’s farm, and, despite her Grinchiest first impressions, with the glow of the fairy lights twinkling in the trees, and the promise of a warming hot chocolate, maybe, just maybe, these two lost souls will have a Christmas they’ll remember forever…
The Christmas Tree Farm is a spicy romantic mystery with a HEA guaranteed, perfect to curl up with this winter!
Tropes:
- Grumpy x Sunshine
- Small Town
- Forced Proximity
- One Bed

A good 3rd book
Cute and cosy! I didn't like it as much as the second book in the series, but it was still very cute and Christmassy! It definitely got me in the Christmas spirit and I love seeing what happens to characters of Dream Harbour!

Ok
It was an easy to listen too book although quite predictable. I listened to pumpkin spice cafe first and the story line was very similar.

Too much steaminess
These books have become more and more steamy as they go. Difficulties listening to this one with kids in the house. Kind of annoying as apart from that I really liked them.

Really enjoyed
I absolutely adore the characters and love the whole village/town vibe where everyone knows each other.
Such an easy listen and I did find myself laughing or evening going "Oooooh!"
I'd highly recommend if you enjoyed the other books.

Love this Series
I adore this series, Love how Laurie mentions the next book title in the current book. I really love Kira (peaches) and Ben relationship. I found the characters back stories were believable and powered the story along nicely. Can't wait to read the next one.

Happy ending
I really enjoyed this book. It felt so different from the last two because it was two new characters we were reading about. We knew a little about Bennet but nothing about the new girl.

mixed feeling about this
I have mixed feelings about this. I guess it didn't help the it was one narrator doing both POVs. I am torn between and 3 and a 3.5.
I loved the character development from both Bennett and Kira but the last 90% of the story.
I feel like Kira was too grumpy for my liking, she was mean to Bennett when she didn't have to be while he was trying to help. I understand the importance for her to be independent , but when you're running a business, you do need help.
Again, mixed feelings for Bennett. He was a sweetie, but boy, the need follow a girl across the country (pre story)? No. But that's a me issue.
What I DID LIKE though, was his nickname for her, Peaches <3 cute! And I loved when they got snowed in and made a blanket fort.
-reverse grumpy x sunshine
-small town antics
-DOGGOS GALORE!
-Forced Proximity (snowed in)
Unfortunately, this didn't make me feel Christmas-y at all.
