Brilliant, gripping plot, wonderful voices and had us all hooked throughout. Makes long car journeys a breeze!

Overall story was good, some good bits in the book. My only gribble... is the music, it's like being at a techno party!!

I am so glad I found this series, I thought it would be far more kiddy from looking at the covers or cheesy like other fantasy books but they are so god damn good

I loved the first book and the second didn't disappoint me either! We have a couple of new characters introduced to us and find out more about the old ranger and his apprentice and damn the author for his cleverness! The book ends on a cliffhanger so I'm onto the third book now!
