Super and clear advice for practical points and with great insight - well written and concise
The narration is a little soporific but a great book and I only regret not reading it sooner

Great advice instantly implemented

I tend to steer away from parenting books. They’re generally full of judgment, guilt, or at least, as a minimum, fill you up with regrets. This book is none of that. It obviously has its way of telling you what’s right and not, but not only is the ‘right way’ all about love and understanding, it’s also presented in a way that let’s you correct and adjust for any past mistakes or techniques you may have had and now want to change. A must read for all parents, and a great read for pretty much anybody who knows other humans, and don’t we all!

Brilliant book, different from the rest

Must read if you believe that the relationship with your children are one of the most important and precious in your lifetime and you want them to be nurturing for you and them. This book helps you build and nourish those precious bonds and equips you with knowledge on how to overcome any crises and tantrums!

Gentle, compassionate parenting

Quite an interesting read. I can relate now to how our different childhood experiences affects how we deal with our kids and how we rate our partner’s handling of our kids too.
I recommend the book to parents in general and to intending ones too.

Definitely worth reading...

So much wonderful insight on how to communicate with and behave towards your children (and other people TBH). Already experiencing the benefits in my relationship with my 11-year old son. Seeing the power of being less reactive with fixes and advice and instead trying to react with empathy and feeling. Excellent book

A must read for any parent

This book is amazing, having read it while my son is now 5 months it has given me so much to think on. I will have to come back and reread as my son grows. This book could well change your life, for the better!

Simply fantastic

But as is outlined in the book, it’s never too late. Now as a Grad parent with children that I am pleased to have read the book I can really offer support that I know will help. Whilst the theme is very much geared to parenting it also offers great insights into the human condition of all relationships, I really enjoyed the learning experience that the fact that I could relate to many of the scenarios, I recommend this to all people involved with children there is so much wisdom contained that it will give you a head start and a much greater understanding.

Wish I had read this years ago!

I will be recommending this read; I already have been to all families whatever age.

An invaluable piece of work .

Really great book, practical hints and tips to think about positive parenting. Unfortunately the author doesn't make a good narrator, the 'voices' she does for other people are really off-putting. I wish I'd bought the print book instead.

Brilliant book, narration lets it down

Great book for understanding children need boundaries of some kind and that children cry for a reason. This book will also help you understand your own past behaviour

Great book for any adult/parent
