As a kid I saw the BFG film and loved it but never read the book. What a mistake that was. Roald Dahl was a very clever and funny man. I'm now working my way though his catalogue and haven't hit a bad book yet

This book is a great shorter story (it only plays out over a few days or weeks at most). I really love the simple story but that doesnt matter. its told in a way that you get to know the characters. I rarely read fiction but this one is worth the money. Thanks to my teacher whom introduced me to the author.
