The dead are rising from their graves. Somewhere beneath the land of Terrassia, something stirs from its ages-old slumber.

Leighandra Evenstar planned to attend the resulting summit of nations simply to chronicle the problem and the suggested solutions. Soon, however, she finds herself wrapped up with a group of young heroes intent on making solutions rather than talking about them. I’m so annoyed that I found this series during the first few books having to wait until the next book is released is torture. The way the characters have there own beliefs and motivations and yet they all work together so well with acceptance and peace, I love these books so much I can’t wait for them all to be released so I can finally finish this fantastic series

As explained by the author before chapter one, this entry deviates from established characters. However I found them to be just as engaging and I'm looking forward to seeing how they will impact the established world and characters moving forward. Now, onto book nine.

I was really worried about the change of characters and whether I would enjoy this as much, but it truly added some depth and a brilliant other perspective on the world created. It was a brave idea and I thought it paid off.
