Loved the narrator. I laughed out loud several times too so I loved the wit and humour. Was a little frustrated by Abbie’s naïveté at times. Loved the found family the most. And Lady Bea was the best part of the story - her relationship with Abbie carries the book.

Love Anne Gracie’s books. Always have interesting characters and varied storyline. A good narrator always enhances a book and she did just that. Also it’s nice when characters from other books make an appearance, however fleeting, and as the Merridew sisters stories are favorites of mine, it was nice that one character appeared here. Can thoroughly recommend and am looking forward to the next book in the series.
