ADHD Self-Management

What I found that distinguishes this book is its focus on emotional regulation and relationship dynamics—areas that I have found are often underrepresented in ADHD literature. The conversational delivery and open tone make abstract concepts tangible. I found this to be a practical guide filled with tools for long-term behavioral change. This is a well written and narrated book.

Pleasantly Surprised at How Good this Is!

I’m usually skeptical of self-help books, but this one pleasantly surprised me. The strategies are clear and immediately applicable, especially around energy management and emotional regulation. This is an excellent book to understand the implications of ADHD and how to manage it successfully.

Living with ADHD

My kids for the last several years have suspected that I have ADHD. I dismissed the comments, but when I saw this book, I thought I would at least education myself. Boy was I surprised - So many of the things mentioned in the book describe me to a T! As one example, oversharing has always been a challenge for me, especially in high-stress situations. This audiobook explained it and helped me understand why I do it and how to manage it. I’m now more mindful in conversations and feel less anxious afterward. I really respect this book and how it can help others like me, who have questions that this book can answer.

One of the Best Resources I've Found!

It wasn't until a few years ago that I realized that I experienced some ADHD symptoms, I've surrounded myself with resources and was pleased to find this one. I started listening to the audio book during my morning commute, and it’s helped inspire my day. Instead of rushing in with anxiety, I’m calmer and more intentional. The book's tips are bite-sized and are actually actionable. It’s one of the best ADHD resource I’ve found and I really enjoyed listening to it.

A very insightful book!

I’ve gone through a lot of ADHD content over the years, but this one stood out because of its warmth and clarity. It doesn’t treat you like a problem to fix—it supports you in learning how to care for yourself. I found the tone relatable and the advice incredibly practical. I also found that narrator's voice was very easy to listen to, which increased my engagement. Highly recommend for anyone who has ADHD or if someone in your life struggles with it.

Setting boundaries

As someone who listens while doing chores, this audiobook was perfect. It helped me stay focused as I ran around my house. Learning to set boundaries has been one of the hardest things for me, so I appreciated the chapter on saying ‘no’ when I need to. The advice is empowering without being pushy. This was a really great audiobook and I found it quite beneficial.

ADHD Handbook

ADHD affects me more that I realized and this book really made me aware of areas in my life I hadn't attributed to it. The book was very well researched and I felt like the author was speaking right to me. The sections on rejection sensitivity and emotional regulation especially resonated with me. I appreciated how the strategies were realistic, not overwhelming. I definitely recommend this book!

Care for Yourself with Kindness

You know, I really appreciate the tone and approach of this author. This isn’t just about ADHD—it’s about learning to care for yourself with kindness. I didn’t even realize how much perfectionism was draining me until this audiobook helped me unpack it. I am really impressed with this author, the thorough research, and even the tone of the narrator. I'm glad I took the time to listen!

Sleep and Nutrition Advice

I found this book fascinating. There were aspects of ADHD that I had never heard of before - sleep and nutrition being 2 components that were very informative. I loved that there were tips and tricks in the book to reign some of the "adhd impulses". It also gave some very important insights into the brain and the why of things. This is a book I'll definitely recommend. Good Job!

Helpful for Relationships

This book helped me better understand how my ADHD affects the people around me. It gave me some ideas on how to communicate more clearly and how to avoid emotional spirals. It’s not just self-care—it’s relationship care, too. I thought that was a unique angle of this book that was different from what I've read previously. Thanks to the author!
