About this listen
She says she doesn’t date players. She swears up and down that she’ll never handle my stick. We’ll see about that, sweetheart.
When I win the pleasure of Harper’s company at a charity auction, I get exactly one date - one shot to win over the gorgeous and feisty brunette.
Game on. I play hard, and I love a challenge.
But just when I think I’ve finally carved out my shot...a huge secret implodes around us, threatening everything we’ve built.

I loved Jordan he was just amazing, at beginning typical jock with his bet but he was just a sweetheart who wanted to be loved.
Harper I did like she grow more on me once give Jordan a chance. I understood why she didn’t date hockey players but I felt like it wasn’t resolved. I thought she of spoken to her dad about it and get closure or what really happened with her parents as her sister made it sound like more.
I will recommend this whole series to anyone wanting to read a hockey romance book!
Jordan wow!

I really enjoyed the whole series of hot jocks with all the hockey guys and the girls all involved over all the books.

Some books we love and some books just don’t hit the spot. This is one of those books for me. I love the author and narrators but this book wasn’t for me. I enjoyed others in the series though, so don’t let this put you off. It’s just a personal taste thing.
Jordy was a nice guy, I really liked him in the previous book, and I loved his interactions with Harper and his want to do whatever it took. Harper was great, even if her ‘no hockey player’ rule wasn’t really explained or at least didn’t come across as important enough for the way she treated Jordy to begin with. She came across as the Ice Princess she was pretending to be at the auction. Once she finally gave in, they were great together. I liked the updates on the couples from the previous books. It ended well, and I was happy that the conflict didn’t last long, that with a little communication they were able to get themselves back on track and in love.
Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood were great as Jordy and Harper. They bring the characters to life and deliver such fantastic performances.
I have to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of bets. It shows such a disregard for the person. Now, I’ve read and listened to some that made it work, but for me, this book doesn’t fall into that category. Jordy never tried to put an end to it and allowed his teammates-his friends to speak about it in such a jerky way. The fact that the subject was also their coach’s daughter, just didn’t make sense or sit well with me. Had this been the first instead of the last book, I don’t think I would have listened to any more in the series.
