I don’t know what it is with the story. I love Alex and the role he now has but there’s just something missing. To be honest I really don’t think we need any outside influence to send us in to a violent tailspin I think we are doing that all by ourselves!

story was interesting, I love superhero origin stories. the narrator could have put more effort in. maybe its me, Ray porter and RC bray may have ruined all other narrators.

Great story. I've already read the book but thought I'd give the Audible a crack. Well worth it but it did seem shorter than the book. That's probably a good thing as I got lost in the story. Will now go and get book 2

Doesn't build any tension. A very straightforward story told in a very simple fashion. It really doesn't hold my attention. Might work better as a film, but it would be one of those shoot em up movies where the main characters are bullet proof sharpshooters. Another narrator who can't differentiate between the words bought and brought.

The concept was intriguing but I just could not get into the story. I found it dragged out the beginning before ther aliens arrived and could have moved faster. The chracters were OK but not enthralling enough to capture my interest. The narration was okay. I really wanted to enjoy the story so I was disappointed.

It's a Shane ASI have really enjoyed the author's previous work.
