About this listen

Junior year has come for the remaining students of Melbrook Hall, and it promises to be the most difficult one yet. With one of their own gone and another under serious investigation, none of the former Powereds know how many days remain for them in the Hero Certification Program. The time they do have will be filled with more trials and classes, honing their skills as they work toward the increasingly difficult goal of becoming Heroes.

Ample new challenges await them, and not all of them can be met within the safety of Lander's campus. Fallout from last year's final exam has stirred the interest of many parties, not all of them friendly.

With enemies pressing in from all directions, it's going to take new alliances, dedication, and countless hours of training if they want to last another year.

This was one of those series that I just couldn’t stop listening and I felt a little lost when I finished it. 10/10 recommend!

Absolutely love this series, just finished the second listen through of the whole lot and couldn't recommend them enough. Characters are all well established, storyline well thought out and great voice acting.

Second time through, still brilliant!

This is the second book in a fantastic series. The author has a firm grasp on the tropes that make this one of the best emerging genres.

A complete mind bender.

the story does go on, but in a fashion that doesn't bore you. with around 12 people's stories being told parallel to each other it's naturally long, but I loved it

incredible

This audio was a very good read from start to finish and carried the story along nicely. It was just such a shame that it had to end. I enjoyed every minute and found my self feeling many different emotions such as joy, sadness, anger, releaf and anticipation. The narration was as good as the other books in the series that's to say good. For those of you that find your self looking at this audio book and aren't sure to wether you should bye it or not then all I will say is give it ago you don't know what you are missing. Now all I have to do is wait for book 4, I really hope that it's not going to be a long wait.

Just right.

Overall this is a good story. The narrator takes a little to get used to, though that is likely to be the writer using "he/she said", etc, a bit too much. Though once you push past that, this story is a gem that does require you to have listened to the previous stories.

Good story, but the narrator...

The characters are interesting. The story has genuine peril and the heroes are not all to be trusted. I love this series.

Every book in the series has gotten better

At first I thought the series would be hogwarts for super hero’s but it is so much more. You care about the entire class as each of the students back stories flesh out and intertwine.

Looking forward to book four
