Sudden Impact is a well-written, well-plotted, fast-paced, action-packed post-apocalyptic tale. The storyline is definitely different and unique for the genre, which I found refreshing. There are numerous characters, and all are nicely developed and fit well into their roles. Quite a bit happens under seven hours, and Derek Shupert did a fantastic job with the scene transitions and creating drama, a sense of urgency, and excitement. I'm definitely looking forward to the next installment.

S.W. Salzman is an outstanding narrator. He is very versatile and can shift from one character to another smoothly. He did a fantastic job with emulating the intensity and making the story more engaging for us listeners. All in all, Sudden Impact was a unique and thrilling listen, one I'll recommend.
