Ihr habt sicher schon einmal davon gehört, dass man dem Meer Land abgewinnen kann, indem Deiche errichtet werden. Diese langen Schutzdämme halten die Fluten zurück und schützen das Land, das manchmal sogar tiefer als der Meeresspiegel liegt. Nun passiert es aber auch, dass der Deich bricht und das Meer sich ein Stück Land zurückerobert. Da ist schnelle Hilfe nötig, und verschiedene Einsatztruppen müssen zusammenarbeiten. Wie in diesem Hörspiel, wo Feuerwehr, Bundeswehr und die Bevölkerung des Deichlandes gemeinsam dem Unglück begegnen.
