About this listen
THE DEFINITIVE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF ONE OF ENGLAND CRICKET'S GREATEST EVER PLAYERS.
Stuart Broad is a competitor - someone who's addicted to Test cricket and the pressure that it brings.
For over 17 years, he's been leading England's attack and being responsible for some of the greatest moments in world cricket. Following the 2023 Ashes, he announced his retirement from the sport and now, for the first time, he tells his story. From his legendary 8-15 spell against Australia to taking 600 wickets, this is an inside look at his career and the moments in his life that made him.
Candid, personal, and genuine, this is the story of a true cricketing great.

Class
Class from England’s most underrated bowler, if he was another nationality every time he was mentioned ‘the great’ would precede his name. Thanks for everything Broady you’re class.

Audio
Well written and read.
The Ashes 2023 was the most memorable listen on TMS, you Stuart are very privileged to have been a part of it, I didn’t want it to end!! You have been an outstanding bowler Stuart though you do come across very arrogant.

Fantastic sportsman but....
This reminded me of Botham's autobiography. Both supremely talented yet narcissistic and arrogant. He can't resist continually referencing positive bowling and batting stats. That's cricket I guess, but it seems a bit needy from someone we all know is a cricketing superstar.
I smiled at the part where team mates had to write notes about each other and according to Broad, his comments were along the lines of 'He's an exceptional sportsman', and 'He's incredibly committed' but also 'not short on self-confidence' and 'He's arrogant', Of course Broad counters that he doesn't recognise the latter comments!
If he was chocolate he'd eat himself.........
