That said, rookie investigator Deena Sharpe is a fabulous character. She is a middle aged, savvy, funny and highly observant woman who uses her talent to solve mysteries in and around her community. Each story is its own cozy mystery in a cozy setting but always laced with humour and mayhem that makes the stories remarkable and entertaining.
Kelley Hazen is a fantastic narrator. Perhaps that word does not do her justice because she performs each book to perfection. She gives each character a unique voice based on their personality and somehow manages to bring the whole story alive. You don't just listen to the audiobook. You dive in and walk amongst the characters to experience.their stories.
