I have no idea how to put this audiobook into words It was very emotional , megan and her daughter are put through so much ! but thanks to school friend and doctor , Garrett , her burden is lifted somewhat , still some drama to get through will they all find their happily ever after or will the past 'haunt' her forever , if I could recommend one book this year this would be it .
narration was perfect no other words for it .

I really wanted to love this book. I think this one would have been better read instead of listened to. I think this is a great story of 2 friends finding their way back to each other as more than friends this time but I just could not connect with the characters. Maybe it was the narrator? IDK but I stopped listening even though I wanted to know how it all turned out for them. Just couldn't hold my interest enough to get to the end.

This book wrung me out... oh my. I was a mess. This book is so good. the author wrote a wonderful story. The characters were so relatable, and the dialogue. and the narration... was perfect. I love Sarah Puckett and she does not disappoint. She really brought these characters to life for me. Wow... I am just a bucket of emotions.

You can’t feel too badly about all of the bad things that happen to Megan at the beginning of this book because she’s lucky enough to reconnect with sexy Dr Garrett Christophe!!
Great narration— it would have been better with a dual narration to have a male voice for Garret’s chapters but Sarah Puckett did an awesome job with double duty!

I received this audiobook free, as an Audiobook Obsession Reviewer, for an honest review. WOW!!! This story was awesome. I couldn't stop listening. The author brought the listener in and didn't let go. The turmoil of Meghan's life, with it's ups and downs was explosive. What a magnificent story teller Ms. Riley is. Sarah Puckett is an excellent narrator and did a fantastic job with the characters, their personalities and the story. I look forward to more stories by this great author. She has me hooked on her stories.

Megs goes through a lot in this book, from finding a woman in her home when she comes home after a trip, her daughter Laney being involved in a car accident and learning her marriage is a lie, her life is thrown into turmoil. There were lots of twists and turns.

Megs, Laney and Garrett, were brilliant characters, particularly Laney who had the gift of the gab and would just blurt out whatever she had heard which made Megs blush several times in front Garrett. Garrett was caring and let Megs take the time she needed, never pushing her.
A great second chance romance, this is the second Gia Riley audiobook I have listened to and really liked, I need more!

Sarah did an amazing job narrating this fantastic story. She conveyed every emotion the author poured into each character and I was hooked from the first chapter. It will capture and pull every emotion out of you and the storyline will keep you on the edge until the end. This is a must listen that will stay with you for a long time.
