There are soooo many things you need to think about when you start your own business. When you set out to start a consulting business, most place only tell you how to get clients and develop a revenue stream from them. Those are important, but there is a lot more that I need to know, such as legal. I don't know if other people are afraid to talk about the legal side of it or they just don't know, but its hard to get much information on the legal aspect. This book devotes a whole chapter to that in addition to giving all the other important information about building clientele.

​This handy book offers insightful guidance and covers in-depth with the 7-steps on launching a consulting biz. It addresses issues like attitude, and routines, determining your area of specialty and niche, starting a business and raising capital, and clients, building credibility, and promoting your value, among other things.

I liked the fact that the book takes you really from the scratch and build up on that, and the first chapter's was really helpful. As the author explains, to reap long-term rewards, you must be prepared to alter your routine and make short-term sacrifices.

The narration of the book was good and pleasing to the ear. The content, as discussed above, was adequate​
