About this listen

Overall, the narration is stellar, aside from one or two voices, primarily the younger and higher-pitched characters. Each character’s voice is distinct and the narration itself flows naturally, if a bit wordy at times.
The story is simple but effective and the novel’s short length ensures things move along at a breezy pace.
For comparisons sake, I’d say this audio book is closest to the Middle Grade novels we’ve seen published in the High Republic setting. A predominantly younger cast struggling with themes of confidence and self-acceptance.
While I don’t think Seeds of Starlight is essential for the High Republic’s overarching narrative, it’s still a fun read and an adventure worth listening too.
It’s pretty good!
