Jenetta Penner does it again with fabulous writing in this series. Yes, the books are a bit short but they are amazing. This time Josy starts to learn more about her people, the Morelli, and the curse on them. There are twists and cliffhangers but I know there are more books so the wait is worth it! Aimee McKenzie does another astounding performance for this audiobook! 💕

This 2nd book takes you on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, this story had me smiling and gasping!! If you enjoyed book 1 you must read book 2!

I really enjoyed this second book in the series. But I need more! Josie is still treated like an outcast even though her magic saved everyone in the first book. But things are more complicated than she thought and just when she thinks things are getting better she finds out about moreli history and how they were cursed. I received a free copy of this audible book from the author but the views are entirely my own.

Life is never easy for Josie, just when she's happy with Aspen, she discovers a curse that puts them both in danger! I enjoyed the finding out some of the history of the Marieli's, I can't wait to start book 3.

This part was just as good as the first one and I can’t wait to find out what happens next. Although I almost dread her talk with Aspen :(

I was excited to get ahold of this episode and was not disappointed at all, I don’t puke to give spoilers but if you have listened to the first you definitely need this one.

This book picked up just as the last one finished. The characters are evolving, the plot is getting better and it still finishes with you wanting more. Great writing, the only negative is how quickly this is over!! Can't wait for chapter/book 3!!!

I enjoyed the first book and it had such potential, but this one really fell flat to me - the whole plot can be summed up by the title - there is a dark curse. That is all we find out, and while I wouldn't normally do a book down based on it being short, the ending was so abrupt that I had to think back to what the 'peak' of the story was - and without getting too spoilery it was glossed over in such a way I didn't even register that's what it was supposed to be until the end. It feels a bit pointless to continue the series at this point
