Historierne om tudsen og snogen fortæller om livet for dyrene i et vandhul. Bogen er let at læse og henvender sig til de otte- til tiårige. Bent Bo Nielsen (1949-2018) var en dansk forfatter. Han var oprindeligt uddannet folkeskolelærer og udgav over 150 børnebøger. Han debuterede som forfatter i 1980 med billedbogen "Skrubben Sigurd" og modtog i 1992 Danmarks Skolebibliotekers forfatterpris sammen med Hans Chr. Hansen.
