About this listen

Apart from having a female first-person narrator, which takes a little getting used to, Doyle's classic is well rendered into Italian, clearly read, and the music is not intrusive - unlike one or two books I've bought in French and Italian. (I wouldn't want it in any language!)
However, Silvia Cecchini seems to be the default narrator for audiolibri, especially classics, and since they're usually modestly priced, and pleasantly read, I'm not too bothered. And I can improve my aural comprehension of Italian, and re-visit old favourites I haven't time to reread, AND do the housework, keep fit, or drift off to sleep all at once. Multi-tasking rules!

Dr John Watson has become a woman!
