Malamor, un grupo de pop electrónico formado por Axel, su novia Vega y Rai, dan un exitoso concierto en Ciudad de México. Al llegar a su hotel, Axel recibe la llamada de la policía mexicana. Les desalojan de sus habitaciones por razones de seguridad. Obedeciendo las instrucciones del policía al habla, el trío de músicos españoles llega a otro hotel. En la habitación, descubren que el supuesto policía es en realidad un delincuente y que los han secuestrado. Lo que parece un secuestro virtual -amenazas telefónicas a las víctimas para que paguen un rescate- se torna en una realidad mucho más terrible.
