This is not my usual genre but I can see this being a great book to spark the joy of reading. It’s witty and sassy and I found myself lol while listening to in on my run.

I really enjoyed this story, it had a great mix of romance, peril and excitement. The narrators tone was relaxing, somehow even when it was a tense bit in the story. He manages to convey the feeling of the characters and you go along, feeling what they are, while he also keeps you grounded. It wouldn't usually be a topic I would go for, but I'm so glad I did.

It started slow and then grew suspenseful and just when I was getting invested tragedy struck. And now I want to know what happens next! If you enjoy suspense-filled, crime story, I totally recommend this edgy book. I will surely be checking out more stories by the author.
