"Secret Letters" has an interesting narrative structure of which is being carried through letters written from another person. In a lot of ways, we tend to idealize and romanticize our ancestors; close and far. We tend to forget that they were also human - even human in a very different life than us.
This book tackles that and teaches us inadvertently that we actually have become better as a people as time has moved on. And even done in an interestingly written manner. The characters were intriguing, although I didn't agree with their actions it was an interesting look into another world.

The narration was good and kept me engaged with a good sense of flair and flow.

Overall, would recommend it.
