This is an amazing book , well read and extremely informative. Its full of historical truths. Ancient Scotland must have been a very worrying time to be alive.
She describes witch craft - the path off the wise, magic, second sight, healing, spirits of ancestors and much, much more.
Do as you will but harm none.
It will be my number one book for a long time. It will be listened to, time and again.

This is more like a delusional autobiographical fever dream than a guide to witchcraft. All the author does is talk about herself and her childhood trauma which makes her story even more unbelievable- especially the werewolf part and the fairy queen part. Although it’s nice to listen to- it’s hasn’t provided me with any further insight into practicing. She states you can’t learn witchcraft through a book and must learn from others- so why write the book in the first place? Pish posh.

As a Scottish reader in Argyll I'm really enjoying this book but wish that I had bought the paper version to read rather than endure the consistent mispronunciation of the word "cailleach," a word so integral to this book. It should be Ka-y-ach similar to kayak but with the Scottish chhh sound instead of a k at the end.

I've never felt anything ring truer for me.

I nearly wept at points and I never cry due to childhood programming, too afraid to be 'given something to cry about'.

This book will be one I keep and read many times, I need to understand why it had effected me so.
