About this listen

Mark Dawson's Group Fifteen Files. Quick, lightning-paced action from the first minute to the last.

They call him 'Scorpion'. No-one knows his real name, and the only people who have seen his face are dead. He works for the highest bidder, and he's never missed a target.

The assassin appears in London with the name of an investigative reporter on his list. But has Scorpion met his match? The reporter has a protector - John Milton. And Milton might be the only man in the world more dangerous than him.

Enjoyable short story

Reader does a great job
You can guess what’s coming next but it’s still a good wee distraction.

Not bad

Story quite good and I enjoyed it but reader leaves much to be desired, completely spoiled the book for me.

Best so far

Listened to a few of the same author in the included section. This is by far the best one. Less cliche better characters and story.

Another cracker

Yet another brilliant in the series. bring on the next. The narrator also should not be underestimated. He's a shoe-in for this type of book and is excellent at the job

Can't match Will Robie

John Milton might be good but if we’re talking Government agent, it’s Will Robie (with Jessica Reel) as written by David Baldacci who does it for me. No one else comes close. This short story was just ok.

Holey Plot Ending

Story was ok but the ending has more holes than the Gibraltar 3. Without giving away plot spoilers, the final chapter or two contains plot items that contradict others. Sorry, but that spoils the story overall

Great short story.

Bought on offer, I don't like books this short and feel they should be combined for better value. Howerer I will read/listen to any John Milton book.
