I finished Scarlet Sins Book 2, and while I was drawn into the story with its intriguing plot and compelling characters, I found myself a bit disappointed by the female lead's constant whining. Her repeated complaints and melodramatic reactions occasionally disrupted the flow of the story, making it harder to fully immerse myself in the narrative.

That said, Kira Cole's writing style remains engaging, and the book delivers plenty of steamy moments and twisty turns that fans of the series will appreciate. However, I wish the female protagonist had been portrayed with more strength and resilience rather than relying so heavily on her whining. Overall, a decent read with some room for character development.
