About this listen
Being attracted to her isn't wrong…but acting on it would be.
As the patriarch of the powerful and wealthy Cavalieri family, my choices come with consequences for everyone around me. The roots of my ancestral, billionaire-dollar winery stretch deep into the rich Italian soil, as does our legacy of ruthlessness and scandal.
It isn't the fact she is half my age that makes her off-limits. Nothing is off-limits for me. A wounded bird caught in a trap not of her own making, she poses no risk to me. My obsessive desire to possess her is the real problem—for both of us.
Now that I've seen her and tasted her lips, I can't let her go. Whether she likes it or not, she needs my protection. I'm doing this for her own good, yet she fights me at every turn. Refusing the luxury I offer, desperately trying to escape my grasp. I need to teach her to obey before the dark rumors of my past reach her. Ruin her.
She cannot find out what I've done—not before I make her mine.
Lose yourself in the steamy, enemies-to-lovers drama of the Cavalieri men beginning with book one, Scandals of the Father.

Problematic apart from the food etc
OK, there are a number of things about this story which I don't like but you may do. I've never understood why so many age-gap stories major on the "Daddy" bit but if it's your thing, there's lots of it. I'm not a fan of choking but ditto. Unless your Italian is beyond conversational level, there's way too much; a lot of it untranslated and most of it unnecessary - English would have done better. Finally (at least for the big flaws - let's not get into the whole "control" trope), the male narrator sounds less convincingly like the MMC than does the female one.
Positives were the descriptions of food (sounds delicious but you do need to be a bit of a foodie to get some of the pairings); wine (though you probably need to be a wine snob to get most of them - Ms Blake does the same thing with regard to vodka in another of her novels); landscape and meteorological atmosphere (gorgeous sunsets; laden vineyards etc) and clothes and accessories (though you will know the designers whose names are strewn throughout the book).
Some poor editing (use of the wrong pronoun - MMC says "he" when he's referring to the FMC etc); inaccurate descriptions - in nobody's book does parsley taste minty) and glitches in the smooth running of the audio (leading me, at least, to think the book had stopped for some reason). Otherwise, a standard love story with lots of spice but not one I'll be keeping. 3 star only because the food saved it for me.

Hot Daddy: Age gap Romance ❤️🔥❤️
If you love family drama and scandal this is the series for you. I loved the chemistry between the male and female lead. I also enjoyed the side characters who later in the series have their own books. It follows the two sons.
Narrators were both amazing and brought the characters to life.

Great story
I really enjoyed the actual story but all the Italian talk was very anti and confusing, I couldn’t get a word they said! It was stupid and the story didn’t need all that Italian language it took away from the actual story because I was trying to understand what they were on about.
Such a shame really as the story itself was good.
The narrator’s did a good job of telling the story even if they had to do the Italian bits.
