Piper Scott did it again, another series to follow. Hooked from the start. Dennis Adams was amazing with the narration.

This short story made me very emotional. It takes a well written story to draw an emotional reaction out of the reader. Scott approached the subject of sex workers and manipulation and control in a tasteful way. I was able to enjoy the story and directions it took. The characterization was wonderful, and despite it being a short story I didn’t feel that there was anything missing or rushed. The plot was solid and the dialogue was wonderful. The narration was great! Crisp, clear, strong pacing and passionate.

Overall it was A wonderful audiobook and I’d recommend other who enjoy A/B/O to read it!

There are some books that I listen to with a sense of trepidation, that feeling of hoping the narrator tell's the story to you as his listener and does justice to the authors work, which you already know is brilliant,

Dennis Adams was able to do this in a spectacular way, he brought the characters to life I felt like I wasn't listening but seeing as thought an image on the screen.

Silas is a Counsellor brought in to help Elijah, who was in a Raid with the Police along with other young men. There is attraction between them but it is 2 years before they finally get together. Very enjoyable

I found myself lost in the depths of this story. I absolutely loved every bit of this story that Scott has. Adams has generated a brilliant narration that makes this story come alive. Truly a book that should be in your library.

A good slow-burn follow-up to the first Rutledge Brother's book Love Me, Save Me focuses on brother Silas. Silas is a rehabilitation counselor who works with troubled omegas. After The White Lotus is taken down, the omegas are brought in for counseling, including Elijah. Elijah was an omega in the sex-trafficking ring, and has been told his whole life that omegas are only good for one thing. Elijah has no interest in rehabilitation, but Silas just wants to help him understand that he is worth more than his omega genes. But when Silas begins to have feelings for Elijah, can he show Elijah his true worth, and show him that he's worthy of love?
This book is definitely a true slow burn story, but considering Elijah's backstory, that is not a bad thing. Elijah's progression throughout the story, him finding his own worth is a wonderful journey to read. Seeing Silas's patience and support of Elijah is wonderful. This story is a good follow-up to the first in the series and a good quick read overall!

A fun short story with another Rutledge Brother. This is Silas and Elijah's story and
I enjoyed this one but very different to book 1. Slower burn than I was expecting and a long time past over such a short story. Elijah healed and grew for himself but found love in Silas in the end.

Elijah has had a rough life. He’s gone from living on the streets to living in a brothel. But that’s fine. He knows who he is and what his purpose is. Omegas are only good for one thing, and he tries to be the best. Then a bust leaves him in the care of social services and specifically with a counselor determined to help him see his worth.

Silas has worked with many abused omegas in his time. He’s a sensitive alpha who uses his wits to coax his patients into seeing they are worthy of having a good life. Elijah is probably the toughest client he’s had so far and that’s saying something. Oh, and he’s attracted to the guy.

I normally love Piper Scott books and although I enjoyed this one, I’m not raving about it. It was good, don’t get me wrong, just felt incomplete. I knew it was short and have enjoyed novellas before but this one felt rushed. I never felt like I was fully immersed in the characters. That being said, I think the subjects of abuse and victimization were handled really well and I liked how the characters developed and how the story unfolded. There are more books in the series and I will be picking them up.

Dennis Adams is a new narrator to me and I think he did a good job. I enjoyed this book and will seek out more.

I really enjoyed the process of Elijah developing his sense of self worth. I am a big fan of feisty, independent Omega stories and to see this one from the complete opposite side was great. I was afraid we would get a problematic story where it felt like Silas was taking advantage of Elijah somehow but that didn't happen for me. The development of the relationship was slow and respectful of boundaries and I wanted these two to get their HEA. Dennis Adams used his voice perfectly to chart Elijah's growing strength and feelings of self-worth and to let us see how Silas was struggling with his own feelings and their seeming conflict with his professional responsibilities. This narrator and story were a perfect match.
