About this listen
A long time ago, I was one of them. Now I’m back, and they hate me for it.
Plucked out of the harsh life I was living and thrust into a world of unimaginable wealth, power, and privilege, all I want to do is keep my head down and survive until graduation.
But they have other plans - Mason, Finn, Elias, and Cole.
Everyone at my new school calls them the Princes, and that’s exactly what they act like. They always get what they want...and who they want.
And they want me.
I’m not sure why, since they all seem to hate me.
The Princes are gorgeous, flawless, and cruel. They own this town, and they’re determined to own me, too.
To break me.
What they don’t know is that I’ve already been broken once.
I won’t let it happen again.
AUTHOR’S NOTE: Savage Royals is a reverse harem high school bully romance, the first book in the Boys of Oak Park Prep trilogy. It contains cursing and sexual situations.

Talia is a very real and kinda raletable character. I really like how strong she is - even though she has been broken! The boys are also really well written - even though I don't feel like I know them as much, as I should by the end of the first book (but maybe there's a reason for that).
I also REALLY liked the pacing of the story, since it felt like a year went by, bit not like there were any huge time jumps to get there, which is amazing!
I really love dual narrators, so that is something, which I really wished this story had, but Kasi Hollowell did a fabulous job making the characters come alive.
Overall really good listen! #AudiobookObsession

After Talia finds her father dead in their living room, leaving her an orphan, Child Protective Services discovers that her maternal grandparents are, in fact, alive and want her to live with them. Moving from Idaho to California is a huge change, but going to Oak Park Prep instead of a public school is a much bigger challenge. Mason, Finn, Elijah, and Cole, otherwise known as The Princes, immediately decide that she is to be the focus of their high school bullying. They rope the entire student body into harassing Talia, and they don't have to lift a finger. After a particularly frustrating prank, Talia finally snaps and tells Mason, the leader, how she really feels.
If you're looking for a high school story where nothing is as it seems, this is the book for you! Beware-there is a cliffhanger, so you will want to have the second and third books ready to go.
