About this listen
Alma går på läkarprogrammet i Sarajevo när kriget en dag bryter ut. Familjen splittras och Alma blir kvar. Livet i den belägrade staden är svårt. Hon gör sitt bästa för att hjälpa till som volontär på sjukhuset samtidigt som hon dagligen för en kamp för sin egen överlevnad.
Anna Nilsson Spets har arbetat som flyktingmottagare och hjälparbetare. Under sin resor till Balkan under kriget samlade hon på sig ett otal berättelser och livsöden som har varit stoff för hennes romaner. Romantrilogin Hållplats Sverige är hennes debut.
