Gripping from the start
Salvation is the first book I have listened to from Melissa Ellen or even read for that matter. I loved the narration done by Chole Ryan and Connor Crais with Chole putting in an emotional performance as Special Agent Ally Rhodes portraying her loneliness as everything she believes in and has put her faith is turned on it’s head and Connor does a great job of bringing the gruff and taciturn assassin Merrick to life. The story itself of an FBI agent driven to be the best by the unsolved murder of her police officer father years before and the mysterious Merrick is full of twists and turns as Ally strives for justice while trying to decide if Merrick is friend or foe had me gripped from the start but I am however deducting points for the ending which left me feeling a bit flat.

Romantic Suspense!
This is the third book in the Made Series, a Romantic Suspense. This is a series of standalone stories with intertwined characters. Ally and Merrick's story is captivating, suspenseful, and action packed. Ally is a strong character, determined and smart. Merrick is handsome, dark, and protective. The storyline is enthralling, intricate, and entertaining, filled with mystery, secrets, and twists and turns. I have read it, and the audiobook version is amazing! Chloe Ryan and Connor Crais did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it.

Love this series!
You never know who you will meet in a bar. FBI agent Alley Rhodes finds herself enjoying a drink when Merrick catches her eye. Instant attraction between the two, but there is more to it than just that. Was this a chance meeting? And where will it lead? Twists, turns, cameos by characters we have grown to love all keep this book exciting and fresh! Alley is a fantastic character. She is smart, beautiful and takes the chances she needs to, getting the answers required. Merrick is such a a great alpha male, protective and savage, the best kind to be with. Fast paced and thrilling excitement, I love this series, the perfect mix of romance and suspense.
Narration of the series continues with Chloe Ryan and Connor Crais. I adore these two together! They are spot on with their characters, and when old friends pop up, they keep the same voices we have come to know. I enjoy their performances and know I am in for a treat when I seem them as a team!

Fantastic addition to an amazing series
Salvation is book three in the made series and is the romantic suspense story of Ally and Merrick.
Ally Rhodes is an FBI agent and a stickler for the rules. In her twelve years as an agent, there’s been one case to plague her every waking moment, the murder of her father, a New York City Cop. Ally sets off a chain reaction of events when she starts looking into the cold case that could cost Ally her life, only she has back-up in the form of Merrick, who she meets in a bar. The two hit it off and sparks fly. Ally, the good girl with a badge and Merrick, the bad boy who exists in the shadows, they are light and dark, total opposites. Will they get to the bottom of Ally’s cold case and finally allow her to lay her father’s memory to rest.
Merrick Jensen is a cold, calculated killer, a ruthless assassin with a good heart. He only eliminates people who have done terrible things, people who don’t deserve to walk this earth amongst innocent civilians. Merrick specifically selects these jobs as he knows he can live with himself. All it takes is one meeting, one night in a bar and Ally seems to bring out the protective, dark knight in shining armour in him. Can he not only keep Ally safe but also himself as Ally’s investigation brings her closer and closer to finding out the truth?
Connor Crais and Chloe Ryan take Melissa’s words from page to audio and my goodness what a pairing they make. Chloe’s performance of strong, steely FBI agent Ally was amazing, she perfectly showcased Ally’s strengths and her need for the truth so she could get closure. Connor’s portrayal of the ruthless assassin was simply superb. He perfectly embodied the protective dark knight dragged into the light by the once goody two shoes FBI agent gone rogue.
I loved this addiction to the Made series. I was consumed by these characters, this story and Connor and Chloe’s performances.
