Do not listen if you want spoilers past book 8
A lot of spoilers for future audio books, events and characters that that have not been covered by the black library audio series. Read the books before getting this one.

Not bad, but not what I hoped.
Just a collection of short stories, was kinda hoping for more of the usual but change is as good as the rest and tying up loose ends. Still worth a listen!

A Fine Collection!
The Sabbat World's Anthology: Sabbat War, is a fine collection of short stories set in various locations scaterred across the Sabbat Worlds. It is fantastic to see this corner of 40k getting the respect it deserves by bringing in various authors, both familiar and new, to expand the story and bring a new perspective to previously touched themes and regiments. Some of the stories stood out above others, whilst some fell short of my expectations yet were still an enjoyable listen nonetheless. At the end of the read, I was fulfilled with several new Tanith tales and short stories from other regiments within the Sabbat Worlds cluster. If you are a fan of Gaunt's Ghosts, Double Eagle, Volpone Glory, or other Sabbat related novels, I highly recommend giving this a read if you have a credit going spare. For Tanith, for the Emperor!

Unexpected Gem
Only bought this because of the two Gaunt’s Ghost stories, so was absolutely delighted to find the book full of excellent stories.
From tales of the Sabbat War seen from the enemies point of view, through an excellent old school detective story, to the claustrophobic tension of the story DEEP, I couldn’t recommend this enough.
As always Toby Longworth delivers as the voice of 40k, wonderfully accompanied by Emma Gregory for one tale.
So glad I gave this a go.

Some great stories in here
Enjoyed the mix of stories from different perspectives - some Chaos, some Imperial. There are a couple of 'meh' ones in the collection but most are good and there are some top-quality short stories here (Dan Abnett's ones, obvs, but 2- 3 others I would definitely re-listen to as well). If you liked the Ghosts books, there's plenty for you here too.

Excellent addition.
Some of the stories are stronger than others, and only the ones written by Dan himself feature the Tanith, but the others flesh out the other parties in the Sabbat Crusades nicely.
